I shoot mostly with Canon. It’s intuitive, dependable, and gives me the soft color tones I love. Here’s is a peek inside my current kit.
It’s intuitive, dependable, and gives me the soft color tones I love. On my wishlist: the Canon R5 Mark II as a future classic addition.
My Camera Bodies
One of the reasons I’ve stayed loyal to Canon is the durability of their cameras. They’re built to last, which means I don’t feel the pressure to upgrade constantly. Instead, I get to build a relationship with each camera, knowing it will stay with me for years.
- Canon EOS 5D Mark IV: My main camera. Full-frame, 30.4 MP, with incredible low-light performance and fast autofocus. Sharp, versatile, and reliable.
- Canon EOS 60D: A loyal backup. Not full-frame, but still strong, especially for quick travel shots or behind-the-scenes.
- Fujifilm X100VI: A recent addition I love for its lightweight design and vintage look. Perfect for street photography, café moments, and slow walks through the city.
My Go-To Lenses
- 50mm f/1.8 STM: The ‘nifty fifty.’ Light, affordable, and dreamy for portraits and details.
- 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM: Wide-angle wonder. Ideal for landscapes, stars, and sunflares.
- 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM: My favorite. Heavy, but flawless. Depth, softness, power.
Also in my kit:
- 24-70mm f/2.8L: A brilliant all-rounder.
- EF 2.0x Extender III: Doubles focal length without major quality loss.
My Tripod
- The Peak Design Travel Tripod in Carbon is by far my favorite. It’s powerful and even withstood Icelandic winds. Sleek, steady, and travel-ready.
My Camera Bags
Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW II: Rugged, roomy, ready for long shoots.

Film Cameras I Keep Around
